Dear Delegates,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, the CEEPC, the Ruđer Bošković Institute, the Croatian Mass Spectrometry Society, and the Croatian Chemical Society, it is our pleasure to welcome you to the 20th Central and Eastern European Proteomic Conference in Zagreb.

This year’s program brings together leading experts who will share the latest advances in proteomics, multi-omics, and ‘cutting-edge’ science. In the spirit of CEEPC, we also extend a warm welcome to young researchers whose innovative research and fresh perspectives enrich CEEPC and our understanding of proteomics.

Our multidisciplinary agenda spans systems biology and enabling technologies, reflecting the increasing demand for precision medicine and deeper understanding of disease mechanisms. Advances in chromatography, mass spectrometry, diagnostic technologies, and related research tools continue to drive proteomic related high-resolution investigations into human health and diseases impacting mankind. Rapid developments in artificial intelligence, machine learning, bioinformatics, and novel instrumentation are accelerating our ability to explore protein functions and advance our understanding of protein functionality in medicine with a view to translating scientific discoveries into meaningful diagnostic and therapeutic applications.

We hope that Croatia’s academic heritage, cultural richness, and distinctive architecture will inspire you during your stay. We invite you to enjoy our Croatian hospitality, engage fully with various scientific sessions, and take advantage of the opportunities for discussion, collaboration, and networking offered throughout the conference.

We wish you a productive and rewarding conference and a pleasant stay in Zagreb.
Mario Cindric, Renata Biba, Amela Hozić, Marijana Erk, Lucija Vujević; (Rudjer Boskovic Institute, Zagreb), the Croatian Organizing Committee & Suresh Jivan Gadher (CEEPC).
